VIDEOS: Loan Watch Oct 11th – Goals for Ajose and Chester
Chester 1 goal | Ajose 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Several Manchester United Youngsters out on loan were able to compete in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy last Tuesday, the 5th of October.
Carlisle United 2 – 2 Port Vale (Carlisle win 4-3 on penaltiess)
(Chester – 90 minutes, 1 goal | Norwood – 58 minutes, own goa
Both James Chester and Oliver Nowood started the match, but Norwood had the misfortune of scoring what has been described as a bizrre own goal as he tried to block an incoming cross with a headed clearance, but the ball spun up and left Collin in no man’s land as it nestled in the back of his net.
Marc Richards then buried a close range header past Collin on 64 minutes to double the lead after Port Vale found a way down the left, and it was suddenly a mountain to climb as unforced errors crept even further to the fore.
But James Chester gave hope on 76 minutes when he thumped a Berrett free kick into the back of the net from close range and Jason Price (who was part of a tripple substitution which saw Norwood leave the pitch) completed the come back when he tapped home a superb cross from just 3 yards out.
Chester’s goal:
Bury 0 – 0 Shrewsbury Town (Bury win 6-5 on penalties)
(Ajose – 90 minutes, scored in shootout)
Nicky Ajose received his first start for the Shakers and scored in the penalty shoot-out after the match had ended 0-0.
Hartlepool United 1-0 Bradford City
(Devlin – unused sub for Hartlepool | Gill – 90 minutes for Bradford | Brown – unavailable through injury)
Oliver Gill started and played the full 90 minutes as Bradford slumped to a 1-0 defeat at Hartlepool.
October 9th
Carlisle United 1 – 0 Notts County
(Chester – 90 minutes | Norwood – 53 minutes)
Both James Chester and Oliver started the match for Carlisle, but Norwood was replaced by Matthew Robson on 53 minutes.
Gary Madine scored the winner on 67minutes.
Rochdale 0 – 1 Yeovil Town
(Cameron Stewart not selected)
Cameron Stewart’s loan at Yeovil is turning out to be a massive waste of time, as the young winger is again excluded from the squad that faced Rochdale.
In my opinion, he should be recalled and loaned to a club that can actually use and play a winger.
Substitute Luke Freeman scored the winner on 65 minutes
Bury 3 – 0 Accrington Stanley
(Ajose – 90 minutes, 1 Goal, 1 Assist)
Nicky Ajose‘s fine form saw him receive his first league start against Accrington and duly rewarded Bury boss Alan Knill’s decision by setting up the opening goal and scoring on his league debut as Bury ran out 3-0 winners.
Top scorer Ryan Lowe put the Shakers ahead, after good work from Nicky Ajose, before doubling the lead after a smart cut-back by Phil Picken.
Loan man Ajose netted the third after the break, latching onto a long ball from Shakers keeper Cameron Belford.
It was an impressive attacking display by the Shakers, who are now up to fourth in League Two.
Manchester United loanee Ajose starred for the hosts, who capped an excellent performance with a fine individual goal.
Ajose’s goal:
Hartlepool United 2 – 0 Peterborough United
(Devlin – unused sub for Hartlepool)
Barnet 0 – 2 Bradford City
(Gill – 90 minutes for Bradford | Brown – unavailable through injury)
Oliver Gill received his third start for Bradford as they beat Barnet 0-2. Reece Brown was unavailable through injury.
Southampton 2 – 0 Tranmere Rovers
(Woottoon – 90 minutes)
Scott Wootton received his second start for Tranmere but was unable to prvent his team sucumbing to a 2-0 deafeat at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Here here. Bring back Cameron Stewart and never ever loan players to Yeovil again. Surely assureances were given on condition of letting the player go to such a sh*thole that have not been met. Cheeky Gits.
