Loan Watch: Ajose provides two assists | Gill, Brown, Devlin out on laon
More Reds go out on loan
Oliver Gill and Reece Brown have joined League Two outfit Bradford on a one-month loan, while goalkeeper Conor Devlin has joined league One side Hartlepool bringing the total number of United players out on loan to 14. Leeds United 4-6 Preston North End
Both Matty James and Joshu King missed a thrilling encounter at Elland Road between Leeds and Preston. Leeds were up 4-2 at half-time, but Darren Ferguson’s men fought back (maybe Fergie Jr gave them the hairdryer) and ran out 4-6 victors.
Hartlepool United 0-4 Carlisle United
James Chester has now started 9 league matches for Carlisle and plaed the full 90 minutes in each match.
Oliver Norwood came on as a susbtitute for Tom Taiwo in the 77th minute.
Conor Devlin was an unused sub on the Hartlepool bench.
Nottingham Forest 1-1 Sheffield United
Gary Speed gave Ritchie De Laet his full debut for the Blades and the Belgian defender played 87 minutes of a 1-1 draw before coming off for Jean Calve.
Cardiff City 0-0 Crystal Palace
Danny Drinkwater was not in the Cardiff squad which held Crystal Palace to a scoreless draw.
Morecombe 1-4 Bury
Nicky Ajose was once again a second half substitute for Ryan Lowe and made a big impact after entering the field of play on 66 minutes setting up close-range efforts for Andy Haworth and Steve Schumacher.
Yeovil Town 1-1 Southampton
Cameron Stewart replaced Andrew Walsh on 77 minutes of a 1-1 draw.
