Red Devils to face difficult tail-end to 2010/11

The fixtures for the upcoming English Premier League season were announced today with Manchester United scheduled to play back-to-back matches against Arsenal, as well as Chelsea in December and at the end of April/beginning of May.

United have been handed the same opening day fixture as in the 2008-09 season – Newcastle at home – but will be hoping for a better result than the draw they managed to grind out through a Darren Fletcher goal.

The Red Devils face two Mersey-side clubs in September when they play Everton at Goodison Park on the 11th and Liverpool at Old Trafford the following weekend.

November and December look to be a busy time with 5 league matches scheduled in each of those months in addition to a potential Carling Cup match on the 1st of December.

United face the Bitters at the Wastelands on the 10th of November with the return fixture schedule for the 12th of February at the theatre of Dreams.
