New PHOTOS: Man Utd’s Home Shirt 2010/11
New leaked images confirm retro design
About a month ago, images of Manchester United’s home shirt were released on thebusbyway.com and www.footballshirtculture.com creating quite a bit of discussion. Most fans on the internet seemed to doubt the authenticity of the images due to the quality of the photos and also (humorously) the design.
New images have emerged today which appear to confirm the retro design seen in those disputed images. Although I am still warming up to them, they are definitely better than this season’s home shirt which looked like a failed Star Trek uniform. I refused to purchase this season’s jersey, but would have no qualms wearing the new designs.
The new shirts also feature United’s new sponsor Aon.
Aon is a Gaelic word meaning “unity.” When the former Combined International Corporation adopted Aon as its name, in 1987, the word was chosen to represent one of the most diversified groups of insurance companies in the United States.

Whoever said this is a shop? How do we no know this is the nike studio where kits are created before they go on release? Or do you think that kits are only made or designed when its close to the end of the season.
Its highly probably this is a nike studio and the new Man UTD home kit being news took a sneaky pic of it.
Not sure if this will be the kit they release though but I am not liking the collars already yuk!!

@Matt – the pictures are probably from a garment factory. Just because they have tags doesn’t mean they are in a store.
Leaked pictures of new shirts in the previous two summers turned out to be true too and they also had tags on them and were hanging on racks.
@roderick – Aon is a Gaelic word meaning “unity.” When the former Combined International Corporation adopted Aon as its name, in 1987, the word was chosen to represent one of the most diversified groups of insurance companies in the United States.
Through its subsidiaries the Aon Corporation underwrites a broad line of accident and health insurance, life insurance, and specialty property and casualty insurance, and offers brokerage, reinsurance, employee benefits consulting, and insurance-premium finance services. The holding company grew rapidly through acquisition during the 1980s.

Seeing as ‘Dri-fit’ was used by nike in the late nineties and hasn’t been used for about 10 years, it would suggest that these are indeed fake.

I was hoping the new shirt would be similar to the Nike World Cup shirts. If this is the real shirt I will not be getting one. I really wanted the new Shirt to resemble my countries (New Zealand) shirt but in Man Utd colours of course.
